Captain America: Civil War to tie in to Agents of SHIELD

I’m sure all my fellow Marvel fans out there remember the dramatic events at the end of season 1 of Agents of SHIELD. Remember, when it was revealed in Captain America: The Winter Soldier that SHIELD was really HYDRA and everything went insane when we found out Grant Ward was HYDRA (and a psychotic SOB to boot) and our beloved team kinda imploded? Well brace yourselves cos it seems like the extended MCU is about to come crashing back into our little big show and flip everything again with Captain America: Civil War.

A synopsis has just been released for the May 10th episode of Agents of SHIELD (Cap3 drops May 6th) which says

In the aftermath of the events of Captain America: Civil War, S.H.I.E.L.D. feels pressure to reveal their involvement with Inhumans. But with the stakes higher than ever and Hive growing stronger, the team is tested in ways they could never anticipate.

So if Captain America: Civil War is about a fight between those on Team IronMan who want government regulation of superheroes/Inhumans and Team Cap who think they are fine just as they are… what does this say about the outcome of the movie? And what about the SHIELD team? There’s growing tension week by week between the human and Inhuman members of the SHIELD team so heaven only knows what will come from this. The only thing that is for sure is that once again the big and small screen sides of the MCU are going to collide with game changing effects.

Hey, I'm Clare, aka Ciara or C. My current fandoms are RWBY and The Last Kingdom along with a bunch of other stuff I tend to let build up and then binge! I'm a keen, albeit amateur, cosplayer and love attending cons in various cosplays. I'm also the resident comic book girl around these parts, especially small press comics, so if you've got an indie book you want reviewed, I'm your gal! When I'm not doing the fangirl thing I am a keen long-distance hiker, having completed Te Araroa in New Zealand and The Pacific Crest Trail on the West Coast of the US.
