There has been an extensive fan campaign, based around the #RenewBlindspot hashtag, of late and it seems it worked. With much improved ratings on last season, the show written and produced by Martin Gero, Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter, will return once again.
The series follows an FBI team who decipher clues hidden in tattoos all over the body of a woman called Jane Doe (Jaimie Alexander). Things escalated in season 3 with a whole new set of tattoos planted by her brother Roman (Luke Mitchell). These were meant to use the FBI to help him bring down corrupt business man Hank Crawford (special guest David Morse). In recent weeks Roman has been siding against the team so all bets are off heading into the final episodes. Whether or not the format will have to change up in season 4 I guess depends on how the finale plays out.
The series also stars Sullivan Stapleton, Ashley Johnson, Audrey Esparza and Rob Brown. It airs on NBC Fridays at 8pm E.T and in the UK on Sky Living Mondays at 10pm.
Are you happy about the renewal? Excited for the final 2 episodes of season 3? Let us know in the comments!
