It seems that Hayley Atwell‘s Agent Peggy Carter will be hitting our screens earlier than expected.
While it’s widely known that she is getting her own spin off show it looks like we will be seeing her in the first episode of the second season of Agents of SHIELD as reported by EMPIRE.
It’s not yet clear how she will fit into the show, what with the character being in her late 90s in the established timeline, but it’s likely to be in flashbacks of some kind to her time as an active Agent.
Atwell joins a fantastic line-up of guest stars for the second season including Lucy Lawless, Reed Diamond, Kyle Maclachlan and Adrienne Palicki.
Agents of SHIELD returns on September 23rd in the US and the new Agent Carter series is set to air during the season break.
