Theo Tuesday: Where In The World is Theo James?

Theo James is back at work! What does that mean for us? We get to see him practicing his craft and catching him on the big screen. The gorgeous hunk has had a busy weekend shooting his latest movie The Secret Scripture at various locations in Dublin, Ireland. And fans had a field day trying to spot the 30-year-old hunk hard at work.

Rooney Mara, Jeremy Irons, Eric Bana, Jack Reynor and Vanessa Redgrave all star in the film from director Jim Sheridan, which is due to hit cinemas later this year, after the release of Theo’s next big project, Insurgent. Mara and Redgrave play the younger and older version of the same character, Roseanne, who’s about to mark her 100th birthday inside a mental institution, with the film looking back over Roseanne’s past as she decides to write an autobiography. Theo is playing a Catholic priest in the film.

On Friday, Sheridan and his cast were spotted outside the National Concert Hall in the center of Dublin, with Theo wrapped up for the chilly temperatures in a coat and boots. There’s no sign of his priestly garb yet, YET being the key. The day before Theo, Jack and Rooney were all messing about on the sand dunes and on the beach of Dollymount Strand in North Dublin, with Theo taking a break at one point to take photos with fans. The shoot could be on the move from Dublin soon though, as much of the book is set at the Roscommon Regional Mental Hospital.

The Theo sightings, which we’re likely to get more of over the coming weeks, which is exciting this fan, especially since the star has been lying low for the past few months. He wrapped shooting on the follow-up to last year’s Divergent in the summer, and has been enjoying some well deserved time off since. It’s set to be a busy few months now for the star though. He’s got promo duties on the horizon for Insurgent, which hits movie theaters in March, and he’s likely to start work on Underworld: Next Generation later in the year. Theo’s returning to the franchise as David, after previously playing a vampire in the 2013 movie Underworld: Awakening, but this time he’s been promoted to the lead.
