It’s finally happening. We’re close enough to the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens that we’re getting teasers for new trailers—it’s like it’s Christmas! Yesterday we got the poster and now we get trailers! Be still my fangirl heart!. In two clips released ahead of tonight’s debut of the latest Force Awakens trailer, we see just a brief moment of Finn (John Boyega) and Poe (Oscar Isaac) apparently gearing up for battle and Rey (Daisy Ridley), Poe, Finn, and BB-8 all giving long, thoughtful looks. (There’s also that now-familiar shot of Adam Driver’s Kylo Ren wielding his amazing lightsaber, which never gets old.) Again, it’s not a lot to go on, but considering we’ve been waiting for this movie for what feels like entire lifetimes, it’s enough to hold us over for a few more hours until the trailer drops tonight during Monday Night Football.
