[Watch] Star Trek Beyond Is Here

The wait is over. Watch the brand new #‎StarTrekMovie‬ trailer NOW.
Stranded on a hostile planet, Capt. Kirk (Chris Pine), Spock (Zachary Quinto) and the rest of the Enterprise crew face an alien threat in the all new Star Trek Beyond trailer below:

When director Justin Lin left the Fast & Furious franchise to Star Trek Beyond, he promised an even bigger emphasis on adrenalized action, and the movie’s latest trailer seems to support just that. The clip, which made is debut last night, shows Chris Pine’s James T. Kirk getting into scrapes after the Enterprise is ripped open by a torrent of alien vehicles and the crew abandons ship. During the event, it was announced that the movie will have its world premiere on July 20th during San Diego Comic-Con, in a outdoor IMAX presentation complete with a live orchestral score, which will undoubtedly one-up the surprise Star Wars concert that was the high point of last year’s convention.
To shake things up for Beyond, Simon Pegg stepped in to co-write the film with TV writer Doug Jung (Banshee, Big Love). Those not at Comic-Con will be able to see Star Trek Beyond when it lands in theaters on July 22nd
Star Trek Beyond stars:
Idris Elba, Chris Pine, Simon Pegg, Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana, John Cho, Anton Yelchin and Karl Urban
Release date: July 22, 2016 (USA)
Director: Justin Lin
