WATCH: Logan Trailer 2

Following on from the blistering first trailer for the upcoming Logan, 20th Century Fox have blessed us with another, even more badass one!

Logan Trailer 2

Contains mild gore and cursing – this is the final Wolverine movie…what the hell were you expecting?!

Kicking off like some kind of surreal Pringles commercial, the trailer quickly drops into high gear.

Newcomer Dafne Keen as Laura/X-23 is compelling. She doesn’t utter a word throughout but she is amazing to watch. It’s interesting to see Logan, a character who has been so physically vital in all the X Men movies, as an old man. He’s tired, it seems like all his battles are over. Then this young girl walks into his life with abilities just like his and everything changes.

As Professor X says, she’s very much like Logan. There’s a sense of a torch passing here. Both from Logan to X-23 and also, to a lesser extent, from the Professor to Logan.

I’m not going to lie, I am extremely interested in seeing more of Boyd Holbrook and his biceps in that tank top. Yes I am.

There’s a blink and you’ll miss it glimpse of Richard E Grant. He plays Dr Zander Rice. Comics fans might recognise that name as being the man behind the creation of X-23

Also – did Professor Charles Xavier just say the words “I’m fucking 90?” Oh Professor!

I am hella excited for this movie. I still haven’t actually seen The Wolverine *ducks thrown objects* because I was a little bored of Logan. This looks set to change that.

Logan will be in theatres March 1st.

I'm a keen, albeit amateur, cosplayer and love attending cons in various cosplays. I'm also the resident comic book girl around these parts, especially small press comics, so if you've got an indie book you want reviewed, I'm your gal! When I'm not doing the fangirl thing I am a keen long-distance hiker, having completed Te Araroa in New Zealand and The Pacific Crest Trail on the West Coast of the US.
