If you’re still reeling from Wednesday’s finale of Supernatural, levity has arrived in the form of a mash-up that combines the Winchester brothers with Taylor Swift.
The Shake It Off parody stars Hilly and Hannah Hindi of The Hillywood Show, who are amazing as Dean and Castiel, respectively, and SPN alum Osric Chau (R.I.P. Kevin Tran) stars as Sam, wearing a truly spectacular wig. The Hillywood’s latest parody, in which the crew sums up the entire Mark of Cain story-line in this short, entertaining and action packed video.
The video is pretty perfect! It’s was the best thing I’ve ever seen! They really out did themselves. One of my favorite moments is when Sam shakes Deans arm trying to get rid of his mark. But the real treat for SPN fans comes at the end of the video, when several of the show’s biggest stars make cameos.
Team Free Will – Misha Collins, Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles – are all accounted for and pretty enthusiastic, though Padalecki gets extra points for swinging his knit beanie around and above his head like a lasso. (Padalecki is also shown wearing a T-shirt from his charity campaign, Always Keep Fighting, which seeks to destigmatize mental illness.)
Another treat for diehard fans is when “Dean” uses his leg as an air guitar, as Ackles did that time he lip-synced to Eye of the Tiger while goofing around on set, winning our hearts forever.
