The Fifty Shades of Grey Unrated Blu-Ray is getting set to drop and with that we were also awarded the first teaser trailer for the sequel, Fifty Shades Darker.
Just last week, we got our first glimpse of Jamie Dornan (Christian Grey) in the sequel. Dressed in a tux with a masquerade mask on, it leaves us with nothing but our imaginations. Flashing across the screen is the statement “Are you ready for something darker?” And darker this will be. If you’ve read the books, you already know that the second book speaks heavily of Christian’s upbringing and how he came to be in the BDSM lifestyle. The content is already heavier than that of the first movie/book, so we should expect to see something more intense.
Alas, we will have to wait though. I’m sure in the upcoming months, after the script is written and the filming begins, we will get more teasers thrown our way. Until then, the wait is on. The sequel is not set to hit theaters until February 2017. Just a little over a two-year wait.
Hopefully, Focus Features and Universal Studios will give us set pics to keep us happy until then.
