The Divergent Series: Allegiant is still a ways away from its release in theatres, but we are excited to see what’s next in store for Theo James and Shailene Woodley in the movie adaptation of Veronica Roth’s Divergent series. While Woodley and James’ chemistry exudes onscreen, the 30-year-old actor admitted that he and Woodley felt awkward on the set of Insurgent.

“One thing Shai and I found is that when you come back after a year and at first you think it’s fine because we’ve done these characters, it’s all good, then you get on set and you do that first scene and it’s like oh. It doesn’t just come back, you’ve got to click into gear,” James told Flickering Myth.

James also revealed that he was happy that Insurgent turned out to be “more adult” than the first installment of the franchise, Divergent. He, admitted that creating a sequel was much harder because there are expectations among fans and viewers alike.

Oh my FANdemaniacs, can you believe that Theo James was nervous? We want to hear from you if you think that is even possible…
