Hottie of the Week!

As you can all tell by now, I’m a sucker for a man with an accent, especially an English accent. So when I was contacted by @BLongPledgeMCampaign and asked specifically to write this week’s post about this individual, my mouth dropped open (good thing I was indoors and there were no flies). Not only is he one of my favorite musicians, but he is British and gorgeous to boot! This week is dedicated to none other than Bobby Long (@BobbyLongNews).

I have been a fan of his music for the past few years, yes I was a latecomer to the awesomeness that is Bobby, but at least I’m here. Originally, I should have seen him in concert for the first time in April of 2013, but the weather didn’t like me. It took me another year before I was afforded the opportunity to attend my first concert. Little did I know, seeing him live, was more amazing than I could ever have hoped for.

Then, June 2014, I was able to see him back to back in Los Angeles. He gets better each time. He’s not only talented with his voice and his guitar, but he also writes amazing poetry. He is such an amazing person to listen to and to speak with.

So, now that I’ve rambled about my love for this man….here’s the main reason for my post. Bobby is in the middle of trying to produce his 3rd album. This time, he’s asking his fans for a little help. But he’s going about it a little differently. Instead of asking for donations, he opened up a Pledge Music campaign, which allows fans to pledge to his album, but in return, they are receiving his merchandise for their pledge. Confused? It’s really easy. Go to http://www.pledgemusic.com/projects/bobbylong and just start reading. You can pledge as little as $10 to get a digital version of the album when it’s completed, or you can pledge all the way up to $5000 to have a song written just for you (yeah don’t I wish I had that much!!). Whatever you decide to do will not only help Bobby get his album done, but it will also mean I get the album since he’s one step closer to being able to record (don’t you all want to help a girl out here!) The campaign started a little over a month ago and he’s already reached 94% of his goal and there are still 26 days left. Let’s use this to give it the little extra push needed to get him there!
