Welcome back to Soundtrack Sunday! This week with the hype of Mission impossible and the TV having an extra movie channel dedicated to Tom Cruise Films we bring you the sounds of Top Gun.

In 1986 we saw an amazing cast consisting of Tom Cruise, Tom Skerrit, Anthony Edwards, Val Kilmer, Michael Ironside, Kelly McGillis and Tim Robbins, take on the roles of hotshot pilots and their friends in a film called Top Gun, with names like Maverick, Iceman, Goose, Viper, cougar, Wolfman we know that these guys were ace pilots, with tricks and complicated lives thrown in.
The songs here help make the film as well as a not so well sung Righteous Brothers song, you’ve lost that loving feeling sung by Tom Cruise and some others in the film. With songs like Kenny Loggins Danger zone and Berlin’s Take my Breath away, if you haven’t seen this kicker of an 80’s film, I would say it is worth it just for the soundtrack alone. So sit back and relax and listen to some tunes from Top Gun.
