I was away last weekend and on one night was sitting watching a film and remembered that the actress in it playing someone’s sister is mostly known for another film, that film is one that shaped many a holiday heart, that they would one day go on holiday and have a romance with a hot man who could dance your socks off.
In 1987 Patrick Swayze played a holiday camp dance instructor called Johnny Castle and Jennifer Grey played Francis ‘baby’ Houseman, a young woman on holiday with her family who lacks confidence and dance skills. Over the holiday she takes dance lessons and gains her confidence with herself and how to talk to the opposite gender, especially when the moves are like the Title ‘Dirty Dancing’.
The songs in this film are really upbeat and capture the mood, if you haven’t seen this film and love a good story of discovering yourself I highly recommend it and hopefully these songs will really get you in the mood for it. Always Remember ‘Nobody puts Baby in a corner!’
