Review of Prison Break – The Prisoners Dilemma Episode 4

Warning: This article contains spoilers from tonight’s episode of Prison Break. Read at your own risk.

Just when we think Michael (Wentworth Miller) is in a jam, he comes up with another plan. One has to wonder if the getting caught is always part of the plan. This week on Prison Break – The Prisoners Dilemma, Michael and the boys find themselves in lock-up and it doesn’t look good.

Last week on Prison Break, Michael and his merry men were almost free, and they were caught on the roof. Solitary confinement, when bombs are going off all around does not seem like a plan, but of course Michael has one. Michael gets captured with Abu Ramal (Numan Acar), Whip (Augustus Prew), Ja ( Rick Yune) and others. Each gets their own comfy little cell, which of course leads to getting out.

Back In New York

Sara (Sarah Wayne Callies) enlists the help of T-Bag (Robert Knepper). It only makes sense that he help her after all he sought her out, knows Michael, and wants to know why he has that new hand. All roads lead to Kellerman (Paul Adelstein) of course. T-Bag shows up at Kellerman’s home accusing him of being Poseidon. I can’t blame him, Kellerman has been a thorn in all their sides from the start, he’s who’d I figure is behind it.

T-Bag humor and one liners are still top-notch,”of all things that have mystify me in this world since my release, is that kale is the rage.” I can’t blame him, on that kale escapes me as well. Kellerman denies he is Poseidon, and even jokes how deep in cover and out of range Poseidon is. Kellerman has lied before, I can’t blame Bagwell, for not being a believer.

Believing is what happened when Poseidon hitmen, the very ones that chased Sara, showed up and shot Kellerman. Bagwell runs to the basement and there is a chuckle in his eyes, when he has to call the police for help. It was a humorous moment but Kellerman wasn’t dead, once again there wasn’t a kill shot. Grilling him and finding out nothing and hearing the sirens, Kellerman was killed.

Yemen The Land Of Mis Opportunities

Sheba (Inbar Lavi) is recovering in the hospital and Lic (Dominic Purcell) is by her side. She was lucky, this time, but time is running out. Linc won’t leave without Michael we all know this, and for what reason C-Note (Rockmond Dunbar) thinks he’d leave without his brother is beyond me.

A good deed never goes unnoticed. Linc and Michael have a last hope of leaving Yemen. The gods, must be looking down, Sheba’s family and friends, get word to a powerful man, and Michael, unbeknownst to him, has received a pardon. This deed seems to perhaps have fallen upon deaf ears, as Linc gets to the prison in time to see all the guards escaping. The end of the prison is coming. All the rats are leaving the ship.

Lincoln being a devoted brother, as well as thick headed and stubborn, runs right into the chaos inside the prison. Parts of Prison Break – The Prisoners Dilemma were fairly predictable, like this last scene mentioned, but overall it’s jam packed with excitement from the earlier Prison Break series.

Linc gets in just in time to see Michael and the others climbing out of Ogygia.

Excitement Till The End

The last moments of Prison Break – The Prisoners Dilemma, were some of the most exciting and nail biting this season.

T-Bag, smarter than he acts sometimes, hid in his car till the henchman left Kellerman’s house, and followed them. Not too closely, and not too far. He looked honest to god scared of what he might see. Were they leading him to Poseidon, or was it going to be another dead end? Getting out of the car, to get a picture from a better vantage point, he hides and blends like the ex-c0n that he is. One handed, well with a robot hand, he uses his smart phone like a pro, and gets a glimpse, of Jacob (Mark Feuerstein), Sara’s husband. Is he Poseidon? T-Bag, looks shocked and like he’s seen a ghost.

Meanwhile, Linc is navigating the streets of Yemen like a pro, frantically searching for Michael. Hoping to get answers. Linc catches up just in time to kill Abu Raml. Ramal has Michael and the other escapees on their knees, about to be executed on camera. Linc, takes out Ramal after a brief, yet predictable standoff. They are rid of the biggest terrorist, and guess what, they still aren’t free.

The moment we have been waiting for has come. Then men go and hold up in a building. Whip asks the million dollar question, “who is this guy?” No thanks, that Linc saved their lives, but needs to know who this clown.

Then it happens.

Michael says what we all knew,”he’s my brother, he’s my brother.” the embrace gave me all the feels. Michael showed he was human and vulnerable as he cried and hugged his brother. Barely getting words out of his mouth, being all chocked up, he of course asks for Sara and Michael Jr..

Ramal’s followers are spreading the word, Michael killed him, and Ramal was a martyr. Vengeance will be upon them before they know it. The entire army of ISIL will be after them.

Things just went from bad to worse.
