MegaCon Returns to Orlando’s Orange County Convention Center on Memorial Day Weekend 2017

Highly Anticipated Fan Event, MegaCon, Featuring actor Tim Curry and the Rocky Horror Picture Show cast reunion

 

 

Orlando, FL – February 7, 2017 – MegaCon Orlando, the Southeast’s largest fan convention with shows in both Orlando and Tampa Bay, returns to the Orange County Convention Center Thursday, May 25 through Sunday, May 28, 2017. This year, MegaCon™ Orlando expects to welcome over 100,000 fans to the convention center Memorial Day weekend. Celebrity guests will include Tim Curry (The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Clue), Norman Reedus (The Walking Dead), Jeffrey Dean Morgan (The Walking Dead), David Della Rocco (Boondock Saints), Sean Patrick Flannery (Boondock Saints), Paul Wesley (The Vampire Diaries), and legendary creator Stan Lee, who will be making his final Florida convention appearance. More exciting celebrity appearances will be announced in the lead up to the four-day event that also features family-friendly activities, shopping, workshops, costume contests and much more.

 

“MegaCon has a history of delivering the ultimate fan experience, and 2017 will be no exception,” says Andrew Moyes, Show Director. “The team has been hard at work to put together an amazing event that will blow our fan’s minds!”

 

MegaCon Orlando is the Southeast’s largest comic, sci-fi, horror, anime and gaming convention. In 2016, more than 100,000 fans attended MegaCon Orlando at the Orange County Convention Center on Memorial Day Weekend. MegaCon Tampa Bay launched in 2016 and plans to expand in 2017 when it will welcome 45,000 fans to the Tampa Convention Center, September 29 through October 1, 2017.
