Clicking through to Marvel’s site will bring you to a page that announces that Jessica Henwick (Game of Thrones) has been cast to play Sensei Colleen Wing.
Wing is dojo-owner and martial arts expert who is a good friend to Danny Rand when he returns to New York after years away. Henwick recently played the role of Nymeria Sand, one of the Sand Snakes, in Game of Thrones season 5 and the character of Jess Testor in Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens.
In “Marvel’s Iron Fist,” Daniel Rand returns to New York City after being missing for years. He fights against the criminal element corrupting New York City with his incredible kung-fu mastery and ability to summon the awesome power of the fiery Iron Fist.
Danny Rand aka Iron Fist, will be played by another Game of Thrones alum, Finn Jones who played Sir Loras Tyrell.
As yet we have no release date for Iron Fist, but we will keep you posted whenever we get more info, including additional casting!
