Could Marvel Studios Be Skipping Comic Con This Year?

According to James Gunn, who has a great relationship with Marvel fans, Marvel will not be at SDCC. James who addressed tweets swirling around said the following.

After the surprise wears off and you really think about it, Marvel skipping Comic Con this year unfortunately makes sense. Back in October they rocked the house at El Capitan theater in Los Angeles and announced NINE superhero movies. Not much more they really can do after that. I mean, they can probably walk out the new Spider-Man onto Hall H and show us footage from the upcoming Civil War or Doctor Strange films.

Part of me hopes it isn’t true and they change their mind. If it is indeed true, that leaves DC Entertainment with the rare opportunity to make this year’s con all their own and become the only game in town by rocking the house and showing us moreBatman v Superman footage.

How do you guys feel about the news?
