Blade Runner sequel will see Jared Leto costarring with Harrison Ford and Ryan Gosling
It looks like our next chance to see Jared Leto on the big screen will come October 6, 2017, as the actor has just signed on to the Blade Runner sequel. Details of the film written by Hampton Fancher and Michael Green have been scarce and no details about Leto’s character have been revealed yet, but we do know it will be set several decades ahead of the original. Harrison Ford, Ryan Gosling and Robyn Wright are already attached to the project.
Leto’s recent performance as the Joker in DC’s Suicide Squad left many fans wanting more. In a recent Q&A with fans at Camp Mars, and annual event Leto’s band 30 Seconds to Mars puts on for their devoted fans, he expressed his displeasure with how many of his scenes were cut from the film. Hopefully this next role will show us more of Leto’s Academy Award winning acting.
