At first I didn’t think there were many people that would fit in this letter, but then after searching, and debating, I found someone who hadn’t even dawned on me. This week is more about introductions, since she may not be too well-known. Well, that is unless you happen to be a fan of Divergent.
So with the premiere of Insurgent coming up in less than a month, I figured now would be the perfect time to bring Maggie Q into the mix. In the series, she portrays Dauntless Faction member Tori Wu.
Maggie is an American actress. Some of you may remember her role in Nikita, which was an action-thriller series on The CW. If not from that, she currently stars in CBS’s The Stalker as Lieutenant Beth Davis. Before she landed these roles though, she started her career over in Asia, first appearing on House of the Dragon. She later went on to star in Gen-Y Cops, where she gained the attention of Jackie Chan, who ended up casting her in Manhattan Midnight and Rush Hour 2. From there, you can also see her in Mission Impossible II, Live Free and Die Hard, and Deception.
She’s had a pretty amazing career so far, and it seems to just be getting better. So…here she is!
