Welcome to Level 6 – Hottie of the Week Killjoys Special
Tonight sees the return of Killjoys for its second season, so for this Hottie of the Week we are heading for The Quad! Consider this part-Hottie, part-s1 recap ahead of the s2 premiere tonight. (UK Killjoys I’m afraid you have a little longer to wait, SyFyUK tweeted that the UK will be revisiting the J Star Cluster again from August 4th.)

For those of you who haven’t checked out Killjoys on SyFy/Space I’m not angry, just disappointed. This show filled a hole in my heart left behind by the likes of Firefly and Farscape, and is helpfully full to the brim of beautiful people so, without further ado, let’s check em out!
First up is the stunningly sultry Hannah John-Kamen, who plays Dutch.

The de facto leader of the central group of Killjoys she is a badass bounty hunter with a murky past and a KILLER wardrobe! Hannah has just landed a role in the forthcoming adap of Ready Player One and had a brief appearance in Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
Next is John Jaqobis, played by Aaron Ashmore (identical twin of Shawn who featured in a previous Hottie of the Week).

While his big brother D’Av is also a member of the team, Johnny has a much better sibling-esque relationship with Dutch, but that pales next to his bond with Lucy, his beloved ship! John also has an interesting relationship with Pawter. Cannot wait to see more of that this season. Aaron recently became a daddy for the first time so sending major love to him and his lovely wife!
The final member of the core team is D’Avin Jaqobis, played by Luke Macfarlane.

D’Av was left in a tricky spot at the end of season 1, captured by the RAC and put into Red17 after sleeping with Dutch and nearly killing his brother thanks to some dodgy company tech… Is he now part of the mythical Level 6 or is Red17 something else?

Daughter of one of the ruling families of The Company turned doctor with a secret Jakk habit. She might have had a fling with D’av but she seems very drawn to John, especially after he helped her through her withdrawal. I look forward to seeing how things develop between her and John this season.
Now I can’t possibly do a Killjoys Hottie post without mentioning a certain former bartender.
King of Sass, with a wardrobe to rival Dutch, Pree (Thom Allison) is an absolute gem. Promos for S2 feature him quite heavily so hopefully we will be seeing lots more of his delightfully flirtatious self.
Special mentions have to go to everyone’s favourite “necessary asshole”
