Hottie of the Week candidates come in both genders. Usually you see me only go with the male side since, yeah I’m a female, I like to ogle the goods. But every now and again I throw you for a loop and put in a female I may find amazing. This week, I’m doing just that. The wow factor on this actress is just that “WOW”.
Deborah Ann Woll was born and raised in Brooklyn. After graduating from high school, she went on to graduate from USC School of Theatre at the University of Southern California. From there she was hired on shows as Law and Order: SVU, CSI and My Name is Earl, just to name a few. She got her big break however when she was cast as Jessica on HBO’s hit series True Blood. Her role there came to an end in 2014.
If you loved her there, I’m sure you will love her just as much as I will on her upcoming series, which starts tonight at 12:01 am on Netflix. Marvel’s new live action series Daredevil premieres all 13 episodes tonight. Woll has been cast to play Karen Page opposite Charlie Cox, who portrays Matt Murdock/Daredevil.
“Marvel’s Daredevil” is a live action series that follows the journey of attorney Matt Murdock, who in a tragic accident was blinded as a boy but imbued with extraordinary senses. Murdock sets up practice in his old neighborhood of Hell’s Kitchen, New York where he now fights against injustice as a respected lawyer by day and masked vigilante at night.
So, since I know I’ll be binge watching this weekend, I thought it was the perfect opportunity to introduce Woll into the Hottie of the Week. Hope you enjoy!!
