‘Fifty Shades’ Sequels Get Release Dates

Yesterday, we found out that the wait was over, for the script that is.  It was announced that EL James husband, Niall Leonard, would be the screen writer for Fifty Shades Darker, the first sequel to Fifty Shades of Grey,  And now today, Universal Studios announced the scheduled release dates for the sequels.

Keeping up with the Valentines release dates, Fifty Shades Darker is scheduled to be released February 10, 2017 with Fifty Shades Freed following a year later on February 9, 2018.

The official Fifty Shades Twitter Account tweeted out the announcement earlier today:

 

Now all we are waiting on is a director, since Sam Taylor-Johnson has departed and the cast (Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson) to finish negotiations.  Until then, we do have the release of the Unrated Blu-Ray and DVD coming out on May 8th.
