‘Fifty Shades Darker’ Casting News: Brant Daugherty as Luke Sawyer

Jamie Dornan-Christian Grey-Fifty Shades Darker

More casting news came this morning for the upcoming film Fifty Shades Darker.  Author EL James got onto her  Twitter account earlier this morning to announce the casting of Brant Daugherty as Luke Sawyer.

For fans of the series, we all know that Sawyer is employed by Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan) as Anastasia’s (Dakota Johnson) personal and driver.  He first makes his appearance, in the novels, after the appearance of Christian’s jaded ex-lover Leila (Bella Heathcote).

Daugherty is best known for his recurring role as Noel Kahn in Pretty Little Liars.

This news comes just a few days after Robinne Lee and Fay Masterson joined the cast.  Lee will portray Ros Bailey (VP at Grey E. H.).  Masterson’s role is yet unknown.  Previously announced casting this year for the two sequels of the best-selling trilogy included Eric Johnson (Jack Hyde) and Kim Basinger (Elena Lincoln).  I’m sure more casting will be keep popping up since production is already underway on Darker.

Fifty Shades Darker, the first of the two sequels, is slated for a February 10, 2017 release.
