Emma Watson To Replace Emma Stone in Little Women
Good news for all the Emma Watson fans out there. She will be replacing Emma Stone in the upcoming movie Little Women. The reason why Watson is replacing Stone aren’t the ones you probably think.
Emma Stone is apperently unable to join the film because of promotional obligations. Production is expected to start in the upcoming month that’s why Sony had to find a replacement pretty fast. And that is where Emma Watson came into the picture.
What do we know?
Greta Gerwig will be writing and directing. There’s not sure what role Watson will play yet but there are some big names in negotiations to join the movie. Those are Meryl Streep, Laura Dern, Saoirse Ronan, Timothee Chalamet, and Florence Pugh.
There were a bunch of adaptions of the novel by Louisa May Alcott already over the last few years. Including the 1994 Winona Ryder version as well as a miniseries that aired last year.
Emma Watson is probably best known for her role in the Harry Potter series as well as her latest role as Belle in the live action movie Beauty and the Beast.
