So there’s been quite a bit happening on the Deadpool movie front in the last week.
First up on Feb 12th, Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds tweeted this little gem
Sepia tone disguises the fact the mask is ballerina pink. It's early. 365 sleeps early. #deadpool #prototypes pic.twitter.com/PekFa2KS7S

Our first glimpse at the iconic mask and matching gloves for the Merc with a Mouth. The line about it being “365 sleeps early”? Deadpool is due to be released on Feb 12th 2016.
After that the casting wagon seemed to hit its stride with announcements that MMA star turned actor Gina Carano would be joining the cast as Angel Dust. Her role is as yet a little sketchy, but in the comics Angel Dust was one of the Morlocks, a subterranean dwelling group of mutants, who had super-strength. It was also confirmed that Colossus would be appearing in the Deadpool movie but sadly, as we reported yesterday, the wonderful Daniel Cudmore will not be reprising the role. The new identity of Colossus is yet to be revealed, rest assured as soon as I hear I will be bringing you the news.
The latest news from the Deadpool casting room is that Morena Baccarin is confirmed to be taking the female lead role. Details like her character’s name and occupation haven’t come to light yet, but I’ll keep you posted as always. (Source: Comicbook.com)
