Channing Tatum and Joseph Gordon-Levitt are going to be working together again, except this time they are teaming up in a musical comedy. Universal has picked up an as of yet unnamed original project that will star the two. So far, it is said that Marc Platt (Wicked) and Adam Siegel will produce as will Tatum and his partners Reid Carolin and Peter Kiernan for their Free Association company. Gordon-Levitt will also produce with hitRECord Films. (THR)
Tatum known for his dancing skills in Step Up and Magic Mike, can be seen on-screen currently in the Coen brothers production of Hail, Caesar!, where he also showcases his singing abilities. Gordon-Levitt can be seen showing off his skills in (500) Days of Summer and has sung live on his Pivot network show, Hitrecord on TV!
As of now, details for the project are being kept under wraps. The only thing we know is that it is said to be an R-rated musical. So be sure to keep your eyes open for information when it becomes available. This will definitely be something that we don’t want to miss!
