There has been speculation for many months as to the status of Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck’s marriage. The are they together, are they apart, are they getting divorced questions kept popping up time and time again. After one tabloid would ask, the couple would be seen out together. Today, we finally got the answers.
A day after their 10th wedding anniversary, the couple announced that they are divorcing.
“After much thought and careful consideration,” reads a joint statement from the couple, “we have made the difficult decision to divorce. We go forward with love and friendship for one another and a commitment to co-parenting our children whose privacy we ask to be respected during this difficult time.”
They have also requested that the family, especially the children, be left alone during this time.
The couple became engaged in April 2005 and were married two months later. They have 3 children together.
Even though it will be hard to see these two amazing actors go their separate ways, we can only hope and wish the best for them.
