Aquaman Footage Revealed

Aquaman is the latest movie in DC Comics and the DC Extended Universe to reveal new footage at this years San Diego Comic Con.  But what made this reveal stand out? Jason Momoa (Aquaman) took the stage, with trident in hand, to deliver the glimpse into the film, which is still shooting in Australia.

From what we have heard from fans on site about the footage:  The scene opens on a boat, where a fisherman thinks he’s caught a massive fish.  However, that’s not the case.  The boat thrusts forward from the force of whatever he’s caught, which happens to be another ship, which is part of an underwater militia.  As the scene goes on, Aquaman is seen standing on ship saying: “I suppose you want to talk about this?” He then unsheathes his sword: “Neither do I.”

According to Momoa, later in the panel, the militia that is featured in the scene was Ocean Master’s Army.  Also said was that he will fight his brother in the movie.

Momoa also delivered a message to the crowd from director James Wan.  He let them know that he’s super excited for everyone to see the film and that he hopes to deliver a fun adventure and romance on the big screen.
