Jennifer Morrison to make her exit from Once Upon A Time:
Jennifer Morrison has announced that she will not be returning as a series regular to Once Upon A Time. ABC has yet to announce their plans to pick up their Sunday night staple for a 7th season.
Emma Swan is one my favorite characters that I have ever played. My 6 years on ONCE UPON A TIME has changed my life in the most beautiful ways. I am absolutely blown away by the passion and commitment of the Oncer fans. I am so honored to have been a central part of such a special show.
I will be forever grateful to Adam, Eddy, and ABC for giving me the gift of playing Emma Swan….
Morrison has agreed to make a one episode appearance to tie up the Emma Swan story line, if in fact ABC orders another season.
Initial contracts were set for 6 seasons and as those are reaching their end, other actors are rumored to be making their exits as well. All of this is pending an expected announcement from ABC about season 7.
As a fan of both Morrison and the character of Emma Swan, I can say that she will always be a Princess in my eyes. Thank you Jennifer for everything you brought to the show, the character, and your support of the fandom.
